We’re a proper cheesemongers and quality food shop based in the north coast village of Bushmills, also serving up grilled cheese, sweet treats, and speciality coffee to go.

Since our days of serving toasties from a tiny vintage caravan in a field, we’ve been all about supporting independent, authentically artisan local producers – bakers, cheese and charcuterie makers, beekeepers, coffee roasters… Now we’re in a permanent home with x1000 more space, we can do that ethos even more justice! Our grilled cheese is still crammed full of the very best farmhouse and small-batch Irish ingredients, straight from our cheese counter, and our retail shelves are only stocked with products that we love, cook with, or make ourselves. We’ve also made it our mission to track down those hard-to-get, cult worldwide products, from Perello olives to Fly by Jing Sichuan Chili Crisp, and bring them to little old Bushmills.

The majority of our cheese is sourced directly from independent, farmhouse cheesemakers across Ireland, and we work with IJ Mellis Cheesemongers on our Scottish selection. Have a look at our Cheese Boxes for some of the cheeses we stock – but we’ve loads more.
